1. Who we are
Ledyvas is business management software developed and distributed by Leonardo Cosci. For any questions about this Privacy Policy, you can write to us at [email protected].
2. What data the software handles
Ledyvas is desktop software: by default, the information you enter into the program (customers, products, sales, purchases, etc.) is stored locally on your own computer or on the destination you choose (for example, an external drive), and is not sent anywhere.
Three optional features send data outside your computer, and only when you turn them on:
- Sync with your accounting software (Ledyvas Enterprise and Ultimate). If you connect QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books or Odoo, Ledyvas sends to that platform, on your instruction and through its API, the accounting data you choose to sync: purchases, sales and expenses (dates, amounts, the vendor/customer names you typed, the tax, and the ledger account each line maps to). For QuickBooks Online and Zoho Books, sign-in uses OAuth: the authorization step passes through a Ledyvas server that holds the application secret and exchanges it for an access token; that server only relays the tokens and does not store your accounting data. For Odoo, you enter your Odoo address and an API key, and Ledyvas connects directly to your Odoo. Tokens and keys are kept encrypted in Ledyvas's local database. Data you send is then governed by each platform's privacy policy (Intuit (QuickBooks), Zoho, Odoo). You can disconnect at any time: Ledyvas deletes the stored access and stops sending data. To also withdraw the permission on the platform, remove the Ledyvas application from your QuickBooks, Zoho or Odoo account.
- AI assistant (optional help inside each Ledyvas program, included in the license, no API key of your own). When you ask the assistant a question, your message is sent, together with your license key and a device identifier (to check the license and the monthly usage limit), to a Ledyvas server and from there to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the answer. In Ledyvas CFO and Ledyvas Budget & Forecast, and only if you allow it in Settings › AI, the already calculated figures are also sent (without the company name). Ledyvas does not store the content of the questions. It is not used to train any model.
- License activation. To activate and periodically re-validate your licence, Ledyvas sends your licence key and a device fingerprint (a hash derived from your hardware) to the Ledyvas licence server.
None of these features send your whole database, and none of them run without an action from you.
3. Data we collect ourselves
We collect the data you voluntarily provide when contacting us by email (for example, for support or to purchase a license): your name, email address and the content of your message.
In addition, this website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (pages visited, time spent, approximate location and device type). Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect your IP address. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. When you enter the site, a panel lets you accept or reject this tracking, your choice is remembered for future visits, and you can change it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies, does not store your IP address and cannot identify you or track you across websites.
4. Use of your contact data
We use the data you send us solely to respond to your inquiry, provide support or manage your license purchase. We do not share or sell this information to third parties.
5. Data retention
We retain email correspondence for as long as necessary to provide support and comply with reasonable administrative or legal obligations.
6. Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal data you have provided by email, by writing to [email protected].
7. Ledyvas CFO
Ledyvas CFO runs on your computer: the financial information you import or type is stored locally and Ledyvas does not receive it, except the figures you allow to be sent to the AI assistant (see below). If you connect QuickBooks Online, Zoho Books or Odoo, data travels between your program and that platform; Ledyvas only helps manage the access authorization and does not receive your accounting data.
The AI assistant is included in the license, with no API key of your own, and is optional. Only if you give permission in Settings › AI does the program send, through a Ledyvas server, to Anthropic's Claude API the question and the already calculated figures needed to answer it (without the company name; never entries, files or banks). Ledyvas does not store those questions or figures, and they are not used to train any model. The same applies to Ledyvas Budget & Forecast. Without that permission, no financial data leaves your computer.
To activate the license, Ledyvas receives the machine code, the business name you provide and the purchase email. It does not receive your financial data.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy in the future. Any changes will be published on this same page with the corresponding update date.
